YSAS COVID-19 Response

YSAS continues to deliver vital services for our clients despite the challenges created by the COVID-19 outbreak in Victoria.

We are closely following the advice of the Chief Health Officer and adapting our services as necessary to ensure our clients and staff are safe and supported while taking reasonable measures to slow the progression of COVID-19 in our community.

We are grateful for the stewardship of State and Federal Government, who have based their efforts to contain the COVID-19 outbreak on the advice of epidemiologists and medical experts. We support fully the adoption of effective public health measures such as social distancing and contact tracing. For example, all YSAS phones have the COVIDSafe App installed.

In these difficult times, I am heartened by the response of our passionate staff who are determined to continue helping those in need of our services.

Finally, I thank the young people we work with, particularly those who are our trusted advisors, and our partners for their understanding and support as we respond to this unprecedented situation  —  together.
