Every young person using drugs or alcohol deserves our care and compassion, not a criminal record that sticks with them for life.
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life. We know that young people are just doing their best to cope and manage as best they can with the resources, they have available.
With some opportunities and help from YSAS and others, we know young people can meet their needs and overcome issues or problems, and be better placed to face new ones when they come up.

Join our campaign to decriminalise personal drug use and possession, test pills and legalise cannabis.
The tough on drugs approach isn’t working. We’re calling on the Victorian State Government to:
- Decriminalise personal possession and use of illicit drugs
- Implement every recommendation of the Public Drunkenness Inquiry
- Legalise and regulate the sale of cannabis
- Roll out a trial of fixed-site pill testing in Victoria, and follow the ACT’s leadership
