We are excited to invite valued partners to the YSAS Conference 2025 on the 15th of August

This is a unique chance to come together, as a sector, to celebrate our collective achievements, and explore how we can better provide care for young people and their families.

In 2025, there is a real opportunity to influence policy, this conference is more than just a reflection on past successes – it’s a chance to shape the future. This year the State Government will launch a new 10-year AOD Strategy and seeking to make improvements in crime prevention in the lead up to the 2026 State Government election. Further, post-election, the Federal Government is ready to invest further in youth mental health.

The conference will feature an opening address by a State Government Minister, followed by a keynote speech from the YSAS CEO and a young person at YSAS – grounding the day in both leadership and lived experience.

Participants will then break into four service streams; AOD Community, Crime Prevention, Mental Health, and Residential AOD, to engage in interactive workshops focused on good practice, overcoming challenges, and identifying solutions for the future. The afternoon will bring everyone back together for a panel discussion exploring how we can continue to put the needs of young people and families first.
