Moe’s young people invited to join free community event on 1 April

YSAS (the Youth Support and Advocacy Service) Morwell has joined up with state government, police and local youth services to host an information and fun day for young people in Moe.

The Youth Community Connections event will feature street games, a free BBQ, a chance to meet therapy pets and learn more about local services for young people.

Andrew Bruun, CEO of YSAS, who will be at the event, said he looked forward to meeting young people in the region.

“This is going to be a really fun event, with plenty on offer to do and see but at the end of the day, the most important thing is that Moe’s young people know that there are people and services here to support them, when they need them most. It’s all about making important connections.”

Mark Tanti, Manager of YSAS Gippsland added:

“The local services are united in wanting to assist young people in the city of Moe. Many challenges were placed on young people during the COVID Pandemic. It’s time to have some fun whilst learning what services are there to help.”
