Meet our Day Program Senior Practitioner
Hi I’m Sophie. I’ve lived in Melbourne my entire life, and am passionate about working with young people. When I’m not at the Day Program I’m running around after my two little kids, catching up with friends, listening to music, or getting out of the city.
I’ve been at YSAS for many years. I’ve moved around a bit as I’ve worked at the residential withdrawal units, in the AOD outreach team, was out-posted at the Melbourne Magistrates Court, and am now the Senior Prac at the Abbotsford Day Program.
The Day program is a non-judgmental drop in space. We aim to improve the health and wellbeing of young people and work with them where they are at.
We are a dynamic group who love doing what we do. Between us we have many years of experience working in the AOD, housing, and mental health sector.
The young people and practitioners are what makes our site so awesome.
