I didn’t know what to think coming to YSAS it was an overwhelming experience but once I got here and met everyone I loved it. They helped me out so much. The workers are awesome. I wish I could stay here forever.
The best thing I learnt at YSAS was to be more assertive as I am a very shy person.
The hardest thing was being around people who don’t really want to be off drugs and alcohol.
If you are willing to quit YSAS is the place to come. They will help you, they will support, and they will find pathways for you. I encourage anyone willing to quit to come here.
Since coming to YSAS I have had more ambition and drive to better my life, get a career under my belt, have a family. I am currently looking into studying, I’m not sure what I want to do but coming here and getting off drugs has made me realise I do have a future.
